Drawing
  • Dialogue with Oneself (Tête Ouverte)
Indian Black Ink, White Ink and Krink on paper.
  • This drawing reflects the process of reflection. Of Thinking and re-thinking and finding out that if we keep our minds open and listen to ourselves we can go places.
I really like the way he is sitting, almost wobbling his feet, amused in a way, with his hand back supporting his somewhat relaxed body in a manner like he is really confortable and into his "companion's" words.
The head as a box is a re-occuring theme in my drawings and this is done in attempt to hide the identity of the characters... in a sence who they are is not important. They could be any one of us. And I also really like the Cubish aspect of the head.
Well This is obviously open to interpretation so feel free.....
